Barback/Food Runner

Full Time & Part Time | $18/hr

Maintain, stock and clean the bar and perform related functions which increase the efficiency and productivity of the bartending team for a restaurant, bar, and entertainment destination.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements
  • Stay informed of current menu items and descriptions.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas. Handle side duties, including stocking ice bins, liquor, beer, wine, and coolers, including lifting/moving up to 50 lbs.
  •  Assist with running food from the kitchen to all floors.
    Assist with returning bus tubs from all floors to the dish area.
  • Par all ice bins to the fullest levels at all times and other inventory per venue specification.
  • Put all trash and recyclable products in proper receptacles. Makes sure trash receptacles are clean and odor free.
  • Attend pre-shift meetings before each shift. Perform defined opening/running/closing duties.
  • Follow and support brand SOPs.
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance, alcohol awareness training and company policies.
  • Request proper ID per company policy.
  • Clean and assist in maintaining the bar. Maintain a clean and orderly food service environment during operation and at end of shift, following sanitation procedures required by health regulatory agencies, focusing on both public areas and back of house.
  • Assist with inventory, product rotation and date labeling to ensure fresh products are readily available for preparation.
  • • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

    Bartender

    Full Time & Part Time | $5.00/hr + tips

    Manage the bar and prepare and serve alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages to customers for a restaurant, bar, and entertainment destination. Serve food and beverage items in a knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful manner and work with a team to ensure every guest has a great experience.

    Job Responsibilities & Requirements
    • Greet all guests and interact in a natural, friendly manner, cultivating regular and repeat business.
    • Responsible for accurately taking orders and assisting guests in a fast-paced environment. Respond to guest inquiries regarding menu and entertainment. Suggestively sell menu items, beverages, desserts, etc. and make recommendations. Memorize menus and daily specials to share with guests.
    • Anticipate and respond to guest needs. Respond to guest concerns/complaints regarding food or service and correct errors or resolve complaints with a friendly, positive attitude.
    • Follow established techniques and recipes to create drinks to enhance guest experience.
    • Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance, alcohol awareness training and company policies. Request proper ID per company policy.
    • Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures, including proper operation of POS terminals/cash registers, collecting money from guests and giving accurate change, processing credit card transactions accordingly, and balancing register at end of shift.

      Dishwasher

      Full Time & Part Time | $16/hr

      Properly operate the dishwasher to clean dishes, silverware, tumblers, glasses, pots, and pans. Also, clean large pots by hand. At times, may be responsible for cleaning or organizing specific areas of the restaurant.

      Job Responsibilities & Requirements
      • Wash dishes, glasses, pots, pans, etc.
      • Clean and maintain all trash bins. Deposit kitchen, and dish room garbage in dumpsters.
      • Keep floor clean, free of spills, food, and trash and other obstacles.
      • Ensure proper rotation of all dishes, pots, pans, storage bins, etc. including the lifting of these up to 40 lbs.
      • Ability to keep up with fast paced high-volume kitchen and restaurant.
      • Comply with applicable Health Codes by ensuring that all eating/cooking utensils are cleaned, maintained and stored properly.
      • Adherence to all company policies and safety standards.
      • Assist other employees as needed.
      • Perform all opening and closing duties.

      Education

      • High School diploma or equivalent required

      Experience

      • Experience with industrial dishwashing machines preferred

        Host

        Full Time & Part Time | $15/hr

        Meet, greet and seat all guests with a positive, friendly, helpful attitude and is a general source of information to all guests entering the venue.

        Job Responsibilities & Requirements
        • Greets all guests promptly and courteously in a professional manner.
        • Controls the flow of guests coming into the restaurant and those who are waiting for a table.
        • Directs guests to appropriate locations to wait when on a wait.
        • Estimates and quotes accurate wait times for tables.
        • Shows guests to tables, places menu on table for guest, waits for guest to be seated before leaving the table.
        • Thanks each guest for visiting the restaurant and invites him/her to return in a friendly and sincere manner.
        • Communicates to door host, kitchen and Manager on Duty the wait time, parties of eight (8) or more, and any planned special event; any and all information is necessary to ensure proper flow.
        • Keeps host area clean and organized throughout the shift (shift mechanics), maintains running duties.
        • Adheres to standard operating procedures.
        • Attends pre-shift meeting conducted by Manager on Duty prior to start of each shift.
        • Performs other duties as assigned.

        Education

          Line Cook

          Full Time & Part Time | $16 – $24/hr depending on experience

          The line cook is responsible for all preparation and production of food, and sanitation according to company standards.

          Job Responsibilities & Requirements
          • Perform the following cooking procedures: sauté, grill, fry, bake and roast. ​Performs basic to more advanced knife skills (i.e. slice, chop, mince, julienne, dice) in the preparation and production of food items.
          • Clean and organize walk-in coolers, food production areas, equipment, general kitchen areas and maintain sanitation levels at all times.
          • Produce and maintain all company-set food standards.
          • Execute and adhere to all direction provided by Sous Chef, Executive Sous and Executive Chef.
          • Read tickets from the printer and/or KDS and produce product as described.
          • Properly store food and chemicals including proper labeling and dating and maintain appropriate temperature.
          • Perform dish washing procedures according to proper sanitation standards.
          • Perform other duties as assigned.

          Education

          • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

          Experience

          • Minimum one year of culinary experience preferred

            Prep Cook

            Full Time & Part Time | $16 – $24/hr depending on experience

            Responsible for food production, preparation, cooking and work station sanitation according to company standards.

            Job Responsibilities & Requirements
            • Perform basic to more advanced knife skills (i.e. slice, chop, mince, julienne, dice,) in the preparation and production of food items.
            • Prepare and produce baked and pastry items according to established standards as assigned.
            • Clean and organize walk-in coolers, food production areas, equipment, and general kitchen areas.
            • Read tickets from the printer/KDS and produce product as described by manager and as shown in information books provided.
            • Execute and adhere to all direction provided by Sous Chef, Executive Sous and Executive Chef.
            • Provide support to the front line, following guidelines given by management.
            • Store food and chemicals appropriately.
            • Perform according to HACCP, OSHA and sanitation guidelines.
